The steaks and such are fine, but the insolence that allows them not to take reservations means you can wait for two hours in a jammed, smoky corner, which tends to take the edge off a meal. I wish this chain would treat us like grownups, instead of like little kids who can't be trusted to keep our appointments. Outback's a middle-of-the-road place and it would be a nice, non-threatening choice for dinner some days -- but I refuse to put up with another of those '45-minute waits' that turns into an eternity.
